Looking for an #Italian #restaurant to grab some food, but you want to avoid the bland style of #OliveGarden, then look no further than Trattoria Villagio (#villagioclifton) in #Clifton, VA. Located at 7145 Main St, Clifton, VA 20124, this will satisfy your cravings of Italian food. Lizzie (#wifelife), Jayden (#Son) and me decided to meet in this location after dinner to try it out for the first time. Situated between #Woodbridge and #Fairfax, we thought we would give it a try.
We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. The restaurant was crowded, but not loud. They even have a more romantic upstairs if you want even a more intimate dinner.
We had the #mussels for the appetizer and proceeded to order the #entrée. Jayden went for the Pollo Parmigiana (#chickenparmesean) Lizzie went for the #ShrimpScampi and I went for the Costata di Manzo which is a freshly cut and seasoned 1pound Ribeye grilled to perfection and served with my choice of side (#asparagus).
Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal, and I felt satisfied with my meal choice. Lizzie exclaimed how much she loved the #aphrodisiac and the shrimp linguini. Jayden destroyed the noodles but could not finish the chicken, and yours truly finished the steak. The steak was a medium rare and they cooked it perfectly so I could savior the flavor. The asparagus was bland and had no real flavor. The steak was pretty good. It is not #RuthsChris good but it is also not Ruth's Chris' prices either. For the portions, the price, and the flavor, Trattoria Villagio earned 4 out of 5 homes!
