Missing the summer days of #Greece and wishing you were on the beach looking at those amazing blue waters. Well, #YourNorthernVirginia #Realtor cannot help you with that but if you miss the food, then this place in #Springfield might be the place for you to come. Located at 6230-G Rolling Rd. Springfield, VA 22152, #Milano's will give attempt to give you an authentic Greek and Italian experience. The place was nice and quiet and plenty of seating room. The food was okay. We ordered the #BakedMoussaka which consists of layers of ground beef, thinly sliced potatoes and eggplant topped with béchamel sauce. For the appetizers, we ordered the #EggplantImamBaldi and the #Greek #Appetizer Platter. So let us get to business. The Eggplant Imam was great. Loved the spices and the flavor. Melted in my mouth and simply wonderful. The Greek Appetizer was okay. Nothing special. Some wrapped grape leaves here, so pita bread there, stuff anyone can make. The main course of the Baked Moussaka. Heard it was delicious and I left sad. Maybe it was the hype that surrounded it, but it seemed to be a flavorless shepherd's pie. Easiest thing to make, but not all places can make it. What makes the matter worse is the waitress that served us. Rude, unpleasant, and pushy. Not the way I wanted to spend seeing friends and being introduced to their new baby. Save your money and your trip to go somewhere else. I will find an alternative. 1 home out of 5!
