Late Night, Hungry, and in Fairfax? Maybe some Coastal Flats can Stop your Hanger!

Working hard and almost forgot to eat dinner. My stomach though would not allow me to overlook this. Heard rave reviews about the #Shrimp #Cocktail so decided to stop by #CoastalFlats in #Fairfax. Tonight I would start off with Bourbon Smash which was great. The mint and lemon really added a different flavor to the Maker's Mark that I graciously enjoy! For the appetizer we ordered the Yucatan Shrimp Cocktail! This had some #gulfshrimp, #mango, #jicama, #avocado in a tomato, lime and orange sauce. The flavors were complex but went well. Plus, it almost looked like art on my #cracker. For the entrée, I had to go with the #fishtacos. I know not adventures, but it was the perfect mix of #Mexican meeting #Gulf. The fish was crunchy and the #coleslaw was delicious. Not a party in my mouth, but it was a preparty. It was good enough for me to add this place to my list of #eateries to dine with 3.5 homes out of 5. Click here for the location!
