Did I find the Best Mexican Food?

My client and I talked about food in the local area as we looked at #homes in #Woodbridge. Well, he recommended the best #Mexicanfood on this side of the Mississippi could be located at El Charro Mexican Restaurant located at 2893 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge, VA. I looked at my schedule, listened to my stomach and decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, I was disappointed that no one greeted me upon entering and I had to stand around for about five minutes before being seated. There was a moment when I thought, “Maybe, it is not to be, but I could use some good Mexican” so I toughed it out. I decided to play it safe and ordered the Margarita Texaco, which according to my server was stronger than the regular Margarita. #Margarita had me feeling pretty good. The chips with salsa were not great, but it was not bad either. I decided to go with some #guacamole for the appetizer and the #carne #asada for the entrée. Guacamole was almost perfect. The only odd issue is that they had sliced jalapenos in it instead of diced chile. Maybe, this is just a preference to me. Other than that, I was impressed. Carne Asada followed with a side of (you guessed it) rice and beans. I finished my plate and with a full stomach, I departed the area. Best Mexican Food on this side of the Mississippi…maybe not, but was it enjoyable, indeed it was. Three Homes out of Five!
